Vercel releases coding agent plugin with 47 skills — deploys, monitors, and rolls back for you

Vercel released a plugin for coding agents including Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf. The plugin provides 47 specialized skills covering Vercel workflows, with sub-agents handling deployments and performance monitoring. Dynamic context management is built in. Install command: npx plugins add vercel/vercel-plugin.

Coding agents have been able to write and debug code for a while, but deploying and managing production infrastructure has required manual handoffs. This closes that gap for Vercel users: an agent can now handle the full loop from code change to deployment to performance monitoring without leaving the agentic session. The 47-skill architecture — with sub-agent delegation for deployment tasks — reflects how platform tooling is being built explicitly for AI-agent consumption. For builders on Vercel running Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf, this is immediately installable.
