NanoClaw partners with Docker to bring container-isolated AI agents to enterprise — the secure alternative to OpenClaw
NanoClaw — an open-source AI agent framework built by Israeli developer Gavriel Cohen — announced a partnership with Docker on March 13, enabling NanoClaw agents to run inside Docker's MicroVM-based Sandboxes with a single command. The integration is the culmination of a six-week run that started when Cohen built NanoClaw in a weekend in late January 2026, concerned about the security architecture of OpenClaw. NanoClaw reached 22,000 GitHub stars and 4,600 forks before the Docker deal closed. Cohen has since shut down his previous AI marketing startup and launched a company, NanoCo, to build around the framework full-time.
The Docker deal arrived at the exact moment the "claw" ecosystem got its biggest public platform: the GTC 2026 keynote, where Huang called OpenClaw "the most important software release probably ever" and used his stage time to announce NemoClaw as Nvidia's enterprise answer to OpenClaw's security problems. The irony is that NanoClaw had already solved the core security problem — at the OS level, in ~4,000 lines of code, six weeks before Nvidia's enterprise stack shipped in alpha.
