Claude can now generate interactive charts and visualizations inline in chat

Anthropic released inline visualization support for Claude on March 12. Claude can now create custom charts, diagrams, and other interactive visualizations directly within its responses, without requiring users to copy data into a separate tool. The feature is available across Claude.ai.

Data analysis has been one of the most common high-value Claude use cases — users bring CSV exports, financial data, and research outputs to the model for interpretation. Until now, the output was text: Claude described what it found. With inline visualizations, the output becomes a chart the user can look at and interact with.
